BXL x LDN Interplay II by Tomorrow's Warriors and Brosella Festival
I am back in London after a week in Brussels, supporting the second edition of BXL x LDN Interplay, a band of outstanding musicians from the UK and Belgium.
The project comes from a collaboration between Tomorrow's Warriors and Brosella Festival to open borders for Emerging artists and promote artistic exchange between the 2 Jazz scenes.
The work starts in Brussels with a 3-day residency at VOLTA, a local hub for artists, culminating with a concert of original music at the Brosella Spring Festival at Lavallée.

What a group of talented musicians! They worked hard with mentors Mark Kavuma and Chantal Acda to create a strong music set of 6 Beautiful original compositions, one from each musician.
This project taps into the power of Jazz to blend different musical personalities and enhance the importance of musicianship.
The first performance at the Brosella Festival was very well received and is just the first stage of development that will take six musicians on a journey together over the year into several Live performances and rehearsals.
They sound great already, and I can't wait to see the sound and songs evolve from gig to gig.
