Gary Crosby's 70th Birthday @Jazzcafe

I will never forget my first encounter with Tomorrow's Warriors back in 1999. Still living in Lisbon but already dreaming of a life in this crazy town (if only I knew), it was during a brief visit to celebrate my Birthday that I ended up at the TW Jam at Jazz Cafe. Coming from Lisbon, It blew my mind that listening to Jazz on a Sunday at lunchtime was even possible, and there, I was utterly in awe of the talent and energy in the room.

Fast-forward 26 years, and the impact of Tomorow's Warriors in my life and in my kids' lives is immense. I'm not alone; the gratitude is genuine, judging by the number of musicians spanning different generations who brought Love to Gary, Janine, and this community that keeps supporting and nurturing musicians after 34 years.
